United, Delta launch Flagstaff flights from Denver, Salt Lake City
United and Delta will both fly to Flagstaff Pulliam Airport next summer, giving travelers new nonstop options to the Grand Canyon and Sedona.

Two new airlines are coming to Flagstaff Pulliam Airport (FLG) next summer, The Points Guy reports.
United Airlines will start twice-daily nonstop flights from Denver International Airport (DEN) to FLG on Aug. 10, 2027. Delta Air Lines begins its own twice-daily nonstops from Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) on June 7, 2027. Both airlines will fly the Bombardier CRJ-550, a 50-seat regional jet with 10 first-class seats, 20 extra-legroom economy seats and 20 standard economy seats.
Flagstaff sits about two hours north of Phoenix, close to Grand Canyon National Park and Sedona. Northern Arizona University is also in the city.
The additions end American Airlines' long run as the dominant carrier at FLG. American has flown from its Phoenix hub for decades and added Dallas-Fort Worth service in 2018. United previously operated the DEN-FLG route from 2019 through 2022, according to Cirium data cited by The Points Guy.
FLG recently received an $800,000 federal grant to encourage airlines to add flights to either DEN or SLC. The new service means more competition and more options for anyone heading to northern Arizona.
