Bilt Cash Gets You a Free Blade Helicopter to JFK
Starting August 2026, you can redeem up to $350 in Bilt Cash twice a year for a Blade helicopter transfer from Manhattan to JFK or Newark.

One Mile at a Time reports that Bilt Cash now offers a redemption that actually makes sense: a Blade helicopter transfer from Manhattan to JFK or Newark. The experience includes lounge access, a five-minute flight, and a chauffeured BMW i7 to your terminal.
Fares start around $195 per seat and can climb above $300 depending on ticket type and time of day. But Bilt status holders get a 10% discount (Silver and Gold) or the discount plus one free annual flight (Platinum). That cuts the cash price before you even touch Bilt Cash.
From August 2026, you can redeem up to $350 in Bilt Cash per booking, up to two times per year, directly through the Bilt platform. In one example from One Mile at a Time, a Flex fare of about $330 was reduced by a 10% Gold discount to roughly $300, then wiped out entirely with $300 in Bilt Cash.
This is the kind of redemption that makes you forget how much airlines charge for a checked bag. You pack light (25-pound combined limit for personal item and carry-on, or face $150–$175 excess fees), check in at least 15 minutes early at the West 30th Street or East 34th Street heliport, and within 30 minutes you're curbside at JFK.
Blade operates shared flights between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. on weekdays and limited Sunday hours. No Saturday by-the-seat service. If your flight is a red-eye, you're stuck with ground transit.
The helicopter is a Bell 407 capped at five passengers. Request seating at check-in: Manhattan views left, Statue of Liberty right on the west-side departure to JFK. Or ask for the co-pilot seat for a panoramic view (and a bug-splattered windshield).
Safety concerns? Blade flies under Part 135 rules with turbine aircraft and commercial instrument-rated pilots. If weather is marginal, Blade cancels and provides its Back-Up Car guarantee with a credit for the missed air portion.
As One Mile at a Time notes, this is finally a good use of Bilt Cash. JetBlue quietly ended its similar Mosaic 4 perk in 2025, so this redemption fills that gap. If you're sitting on expiring Bilt Cash, a helicopter transfer turns a dreaded airport crawl into a five-minute thrill.
